Team VersaTILLYty's Global Challenge

Having successfully made it through to round two of this year's 'Who wants to be an £ntrepreneur' competition held by the charity Young Enterprise, a team from local accountancy firm Baker Tilly is inviting local business people to a charity fundraising evening of food and wine tasting.

Team VersaTILLYty, which is made up from ten of the firm's Chartered Accountants and business advisers, will be hosting the event on Thursday 19th April at the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School near Driffield, with the team aiming to take the guests' taste-buds on a whistle-stop tour of world food and drink.

Guests will start their evening at Baker Tilly's offices at Two Humber Quays, Hull where they will be treated to a delicious 'World Foods' buffet and have the chance to network with other local business people. Transport will be provided, courtesy of East Yorkshire Coaches, to the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School where guests will be met with a glass of Prosecco. Attendees will then take their seats for a cookery and wine matching demonstration led by chef Ali Bilton and wine expert Peter Fawcett of Field and Fawcett wine merchants.

Guests will, of course, also be able to sample the tasty food and wines demonstrated and have the opportunity to purchase their favourite wines of the evening before being transported back to Hull.

Claire Chapman, leader of team VersaTILLYty and an associate in the tax department at Baker Tilly, said: 'The team really enjoyed the first round of this fantastic competition, in which we raised over £1,700 for the charity and hope to be even more successful this time.

'This event is designed to have something to interest everyone, whilst sticking with the Global theme. The cookery school was awarded the most remarkable newcomer award at the East Yorkshire Tourism Awards Ceremony in 2011 and creates a fantastic setting for this wonderful evening of entertainment.
