Humber Bridge to hold extra Christmas Market

Christmas Market The Humber Bridge will be holding a special pre-Christmas Market on Thursday 22rd December 2011. The event will be held at the Humber Bridge viewing area in Hessle from 9am -1pm.

The market will include a fantastic range of local seasonal produce, perfect for creating unforgettable Christmas feasts. There will also be a dedicated craft section, selling a selection of Christmas crafts and gifts from local artisans and traders.

Neil Marshall, Business Manager for the Humber Bridge said:
'This event will give visitors the chance to pick up any orders they placed at our December 4th market, as well as any last minute presents! It is the perfect place to pick up the freshest Christmas ingredients and a wonderful place to start the festivities this year.'

The farmers' market is accredited by FARMA (The National Farmers' Retail & Markets Association) which acts as a guarantee to visitors that all food sold at the market has been produced locally, and is being sold directly by people involved in the production process.

In addition to a wide range of local meat, fish, vegetables, bread, cheeses and preserves, the market also sells a selection of speciality foods, and features a dedicated craft section.

The Humber Bridge Farmers' Market is held on the first Sunday of every month at the Humber Bridge viewing area in Hessle, in association with Driffield Agricultural society. Since its re-launch in April 2011, it has attracted over 5000 visitors to each event. Ample free parking is available on site.
