'ThreeSixFive'; the annual report and accounts of NHS Hull; is now competing for the title of 'best corporate publication/annual report' in the Communicators in Business (North) Awards 2010.
Rachel Johnson, Corporate Communications Manager for NHS Hull says:
'What's different about ThreeSixFive is that the content has been heavily influenced by the people of Hull. Our patients, partners and the public were asked what they wanted from the magazine, and this year we've been able to deliver on their preferences; this isn't something you see often with annual reports.'
The magazine contains a wealth of information about local healthcare, including interviews with staff and patients, service updates, and a handy directory of useful contact numbers.
Research carried out earlier in the year showed that almost 9 in every 10 readers of ThreeSixFive considered it 'good' or 'excellent'.
Rachel continues:
'We feel honoured to have been short-listed. The award nomination is a reflection of the hard work put in by the Communications Team, but the success of ThreeSixFive is also thanks in part to those who completed feedback cards and gave us the ideas and suggestions we needed to make it meaningful for local people.'
The winner will be announced at the Communicators in Business awards dinner on Friday 26 March.
