Innovation and knowledge transfer services
The University of Hull provides for a comprehensive package of innovation and knowledge transfer services supporting health-tech businesses, and those in other sectors with opportunities for diversification. The University has a reputation for academic and research excellence in Functional Food/Nutraceuticals, Telehealth and niche Medical Devices/Technologies. Recent investment in new staff has brought significant expertise in the growing area of Skin Health, and investment on-campus in a new £6m biomedical research facility is supplementing our R&D laboratory facilities. The proposal would deliver a programme of supplementary business and technology support in these niche specialisms for SMEs across the Humber.
