Bishop Burton College

Bishop Burton CollegeWidely regarded as one of the finest countryside college's in the region, Bishop Burton College| is a well-established Centre for Vocational Excellence for Agriculture and Equine. A £25m campus development programme is currently renovating more than half the College's existing buildings, which will truly raise the bar for vocational education and training in the region.

Thanks to a generous provision of 750 acres of working farmland, a broad range of interesting further and higher education courses, including everything from Animal Management and Environmental Conservation to Floristry and Land-based Engineering, allow students to reap the benefits of hands-on learning, from the milking of cows to training for fork lift and sprayer certificates.

Beautifully rural, yet situated near to major towns and cities, it's also a popular venue for conferences, weddings and training events. In fact, its grounds are so good, that it's been approved as an Equestrian training base for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
